washed tones and leopard prints

The big hair day.

Living in a house with a couple of kittens can be messy, but they are the cutest living things, small enough to tuck up in my single hand, if only they stayed this size forever...ho hum....
Loving my baby pink platent DM's at the mo, wearing them every where, even to the shops. A random started talking to me about my shoes asked me where I was going all styled up...to tell the truth, only to the garage to buy some milk, but he needn't know.

Found - A Kiss on a Starless Night

I have been a big big fan of Wendy Bevan for quite some time now, I just love her colourful projects and her use of soft focus on the old camera. I got awfully excited when I found this, and there is a wonderful video to match on the link below, which is a must see.

testmag.co.uk/starless-night

This shoot she has done with Sayaka Maruyama is a little different to her usual style, the images are not her usual soft focus, it seems that she is trying something different, and its working for her. Nice one Beven.

Found - Everything Style

Having my daily browse on Lookbook, I came across a beautiful image (first shown) from everything style I had to get to know more about her, she is beautiful, and her photos are ever so delicious and inspiring, if I were you, I would take a look for a butterfly feeling experience.

And don't forget to check her photography portfolio

Spend more time with others.

I really need to stop job hunting till so late, I start to forget who I have sent my CV off to, and I would hate to resend them the same email twice, its never a good sign of going a little delusional, especially as it is such a late hour. Once I start something, I can't seem to put it down until it complete. error.

Here are a few snaps from my recent holiday.

Inspirational - Exito Campaign

Marking the launch of Esteban Cortazar’s first collaboration with Latin American retailer, Exito, Hanne Gaby Odiele.

For more of an insight of pastel colours, and youthful aesthetic take a look at the video made by campaign photographer Jaime Rubiano and in collaboration with Jason Last.

Floral Fantasy

I know I like floral print and carpet bags, but I truly didn't realise how much it is involved in my life until I stood back and took in my work space / bedroom. I thought it was rather delightful, and so I thought to post it up, along side my favourite photo of mine in my floral maxi dress on the rocks in Spain and a rose tea I had at a beautiful cafe in Brighton, the taste of rose flowing through my body, what more could I ask for.

Old Photo Finds

I love looking through old photo's and thinking about all the good times, I remember these especially, it was one of the best nights I had at uni before everything got serious, second year was most definitely my favourite year, I had such good fun, going to New Zealand, enjoying my friends, meeting my boyfriend for the very first time... oh how I miss student life....already.

I think getting a job will pick me up, seeing as being ever so skint is never fun, as I can;t see my friends, or boyfriend. Miss you Lars (pictured above)

Street Style In Cellardoor Magazine

A while back Cellardoor magazine got in contact with me asking for these particular street style pictures to put in there magazine, and of course I accepted. So I sent them over with some love, and a few weeks later they sent me a copy, and I am pleased they picked some awsome photographs, especially the of Jen from style east, how v exciting.

I have a bow in my hair, please hire me

Looking for a job, and asking to be hired is much harder than I thought, leaving the house with a bow in my hair is a little daring, but hey, hopefully I will make an impression (a good one, or not, either one) and they may just remember me...or I will just look like a tool, and stay jobless...

I haven't been back from holiday for too long, and I haven't given out many CV's, but the amount of times I have been over and over the one CV is frightful, and I am getting extremely bored of reading about myself. How do you do it?

Someone hire me, thank you please.

First Class Honours

Overall Result
First Class Honours, BA Fashion, Design, Styling and Promotion

(Book no. 1 - Covent Garden)

This has been a good day.

I woke up today in my new room, to find out that I received a first in my degree for my seven street style books. It made me SHRILL with excitement, I couldn't be happier.

I need to get out there as soon as possible to spread my love for fashion.

But before I do, its time to go on my 2 week holiday with my sister, who is coming back TUESDAY from New Zealand after 2 years.

WOW NOW > Happy days. x

I have moved

A quick snap shot from my mac desk top,
A small section of my new room.

Things I need to do, sort out space for my clothes and buy some nice brand new floral bedsheets for a double! oh yay.

Wednesday, 23 June 2010

Bye for two weeks.

So I am moving back to Reading tomorrow, there are ups and downs to the move,

Pros:
Double room (YES, bye bye single bed, hello spacey bed, after three years)
5mins from train station, 30 mins from padds,
no rent until I find a job.
Living with my bestest friend / step sister, and two others, one from Italy, and another who has recently bought to cats (LOVE CATS)
Get my computer in my room, which is SO exciting (simple things)
and hopefully will find a job asap.

Cons:
not in London,
will miss my friends (but not far away)
so... to be honest, pro's over cons that won this move to Reading.

Off to Brighton on Tuesday, I then graduate on the 9th, then to Falmouth for a week.
Its the boyfriends birthday as soon as I return, as well as his graduation, and hopefully off to Spain for a week.

Then to come back to find a job with nothing standing in my way.

I will be back within the month, I still have SO much to post up, from Lady Gaga, my exhibition, photoshoots times two, and after these weeks away, probably much much more.
Thats what the two memory cards are for. I expecially can't wait to capture the street style in Brighton and Falmouth.

Well I have left you with an illustration I did a while ago.
Big love for the next month x

Fun in the Sun

When its sunny, there is no better way than to celebrate the sunshine in the park with clothes and friends, here are few pictures I took from the other day.

I packed my bags today, I'm up and out of London, but I will be back as much as possible to walk the streets and capture you beauties as much as I can, and hopefully be moving back within six months once I get some money, and a job.

Much Love. x
